The first Fountain Pen Painter of the world
Axel Neumann seems to be the first who doesn't use the fountain pen neither for writing nor drawing, but for painting. Therefore the word Ffountain Pen Painting" doesn't exist yet.

He paints with a standard cartridge pen, which he doesn't fill with ink but with acrylic paint. Among professionals this is deemed to be technically impossible. Therefore, no fountain pen expert will be able to believe that the paintings shown on this website actually exist.

The Fountain Pen Paintings consist of countless fine strokes and are perfectly worked out down to the smallest detail. Already in front of his small format one is impressed by the skill and patience of Axel Neumann. But when one knows what sizes he has already painted, it starts to be unimaginable.

When you stand in front of one of his originals, you don't think: "I also could do this!" but rather "Wow! How did he manage this?"
